It feels like summer has just begun, yet the most iconic holiday of the season is already here! This weekend, people across the country will enjoy stunning fireworks shows to celebrate our great nation’s independence.

After all, John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail on July 2, 1776 that future generations would celebrate our Independence Day with “Pomp and Parade… Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other.”
